Loving our present is something many of us struggle with, especially when we have plenty to think about in the past or hope for in the future; enjoying today can be very difficult when we are constantly reminded of what we’ve done or have not done. Sometimes we need to close our eyes and climb into the present in order to be free.

Our Emotional Presence is an important part of understanding our feelings. Feelings can give many moments of joy and equally many moments of pain. Joy & Pain to not only ourselves but also to those that love us. Those that love us, love us for difference reasons, dependence, we fulfil a need or just because…

Sometimes what we say doesn’t always equal how we feel, sometimes what we do doesn’t always equal what we say.

Being present emotionally means we have learned how to express or show love, with or without touch. Being present emotionally, means we are not afraid to dig deep and interpret (or express) our feelings into words. Our emotions require love, being, self. Our emotions are connected to our need for physical touch – a hug, a kiss, a child, something physical…

Our Physical Presence is an important part of understanding how we affect those that love us. Being physically present doesn’t always mean we are in the room, for ourselves or for those who share our lives.

Looking into the mirror with your eyes will immediately bring you into the physical presence of the room. Touch your face, touch another person’s face, feel your physical presence and their presence all at once. Physical touch of anything will give it your attention.

Does your mind keep you here or take you there. Does your mobile phone keep you here or take you there. Does a physical heartfelt need keep you here or take you there… the heart beats…

Our Heart Presence is what we feel and who we feel it for. The Heart beats for us even when we don’t remember it exists.

The Heart beats for another even when they abuse us physically, emotionally or mentally. The Heart keeps us alive but can also keep us from living.

The Heart connects us to life, mother earth, someone on the other side of the world and also beside us. The Heart is here for us but if we don’t venture into its darkness it can go against us. It knows no friend and knows no enemy. It just loves – unconditionally.

The Heart is Love and Breath.

Our Breath Presence is the door to life, the door to silence, the door to connecting with our inner past and present.

When you’re faced with a situation you cannot change, take a long Breath!
