Accept me Phase 1

Our Journey starts within

Our journey’s consist of many different situations, situations which never truly die, they only transform either into darkness or light. The darkness reminds us that there is an opposite to love and light and the Light reminds us (if we forget) that there is also an opposite, darkness. These brothers and sisters, mothers and fathers, male and females are all part of the game or journey of life.

These opposites (darkness & light) both live within us and within our being. I believe we should embrace both parts of ourselves, accepting that they both need to co-exist within us, making us whole.

A question of self-love

Our lack of self-love has a domino effect on all the people around us, especially our partners or dependents, in fact this occurs with anyone who is close to us.

Very often, we seek acceptance from others and if we don’t get it from our mate or peers we look elsewhere, thereby removing our own acceptance from the equation.

This validation outside of ourselves can get us stuck in a loop, a never-ending expectation for everyone we meet to make us happy.

This type of outside validation will always only ever be a temporary achievement, as they can never truly make us happy on the inside.

Is happiness real?

What makes us unhappy?

What stops us from loving ourselves:

  1. Is it something that happened in the past?
  2. Is it something we’re doing now?
  3. Is it something we’re afraid of in the future?

These are all questions we often avoid asking ourselves as we keep our heads stuck in the sand. But what if we could face these questions in a kind loving way. Would we benefit from a more fulfilled life?

In order for us to Love our being, we must take ourselves back to who we truly are at our core, the centre of our being.
