Look back at your Culture

If you want to know a person’s history, look at what they’re doing now! What are their habits? Are they reliable or always late? Are they trustworthy or always seem to be hiding something?

Look at the parental or caring relationships you’ve copied growing up, how do they compare with the ones you’re in right now? You will find they all paint a picture of who we were and who we are – right now. History gives us a foundation, a model an example outline of who we are… What we change, we change for the future generations of tomorrow. Thats ‘me’, that’s ‘you’, that’s right now!

Who?

What was life like for our Biological Parents, Grandparents, Aunts & Uncles or anyone who has grown up in the same place as your ancestors? If you don’t have any family connections then you can find out by researching online, look up the place, village, town, city, country or even continent where your family roots originated.

What?

Eating authentic food from a part of the world which we are connected gives a feeling of belonging, something which helps us identify who we are, a little bit of history taken from a visit to a local museum can bring a connection between us and our ancestors, again giving us a sense of purpose. Our family traditions are something to look forward to, independence or cultural holiday, watching movies which feature people from the same background, speaking in various dialects, all these things are accessible to anyone that will take the time look…

Where?

Sometimes our family isn’t available, very often this can be a blessing more than a curse. There is a mountain of knowledge to be dug up in books, TV shows and movies. There are even training programs available for looking at your history. Our history can be checked via our DNA now, ask your local Doctor for more information. You never grow too old to learn so open your mind.

Why?

As parents we have a duty to our children to understand where we are coming from so we can share that knowledge. A young child separated from a parent is a disastrous scenario better avoided. However, adopted parents can replace biological parents with love that will be just as good if not better in the case of some birth parents. Knowledge and the admittance of what we’ve done wrong is one of the greatest lessons we can teach our children. To admit we have got it wrong and make mistakes gives them permission to get it wrong without feeling like a failure. Failure’s are part of life’s journey to success.

How?

Our workshops and seminars focus on the positive and negative affects of Culture within the family. We discuss and research the history of specific habits, some of  which tear families apart and prevent children from receiving the love they need, to prepare them for life on earth.  Unfortunately, some parents choose or are unable to raise their children, this leaves many of our young adults unable to make the right decisions as they navigate through life. Without a joint partnership of love from two parents, it becomes harder for a child to make the right choice of a positive or conscious life partner.
